The last time I was in Vietnam was 8 years ago visiting family with Mama Suu not knowing that we would open a restaurant 3 years later in Chicago. This time it was for business and our hunger to learn more about the food, ingredients, preparation and its origin so we can create more seriously delicious Vietnamese food that we love to eat and for our customers back in Chicago.
